We have so much more we can do…

The Festival at Sandpoint is one part of what we do.

We make music more accessible not just to listeners, but also to learners, musicians, and neighbors.

That is why the nonprofit that produces The Festival at Sandpoint is now called:

SELKIRK SOUND COLLECTIVE |

SELKIRK SOUND COLLECTIVE |

We are the same nonprofit that has produced The Festival at Sandpoint since 1982.

The same local leadership, same mission, same concert series.

The Festival at Sandpoint remains our signature event at War Memorial Field.

the other 50 WEEKS OF THE YEAR

Our year-round programs support music education for musicians of all ages and abilities, scholarships, and other live music opportunities.

These are all important expressions of our mission. New ideas and opportunities continue to emerge, many of which cannot be fully represented by a name that most people associate exclusively with the annual Festival at Sandpoint.

This new name distinguishes the nonprofit organization from the event for which we are best known. It allows us to grow into a bigger mission and a bigger story.

Stay tuned for more - this website, our visual brand, and more year-round programs are in the works.
